Our organization’s senior and founding member, Mr. Madhukar Kulkarni, has completed 92 years of age. The office bearers of the organization visited his home to honor him. πππ We pray that God keeps him healthy.
Grand celebration of Pensioners’ Day on December 17th 2025
Special Event by “Retired Railway Pensioners Committee” Indore on Pensioners’ Day
The “Retired Railway Pensioners Committee” Indore organized a grand celebration of Pensioners’ Day on December 17th, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, at Shri Madhyabharat Hindi Sahitya Samiti, R&T Marg, Indore.
The program began with the lighting of the lamp and garlanding of the idol of Goddess Saraswati by the program’s chairman Sanjay Phadnis, chief guests Shobha Paithankar and Vijaya Shinde, the organization’s president Shrikant Yadav, and other members.
The organization’s vice-president Bhalchandra Songaonkar welcomed the president, and subsequently, the president Shrikant Yadav welcomed the program’s chairman Sanjay Phadnis. Saroj Yadav and Kalpana Edlabadkar welcomed the chief guests. The guests were introduced by Swati Verma. The program commenced with the national anthem. Initially, the organization’s executive member Prakash Chaure introduced the organization and spoke about its activities. The organization’s treasurer Hari Prasad Pal shared information about the organization’s financial status.
Following this, 20 members who had completed 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, and 95 years of age, and 70 members who had provided special financial assistance to the organization, were honored by the chief guests and other members of the organization.
Afterward, President Shrikant Yadav delivered his speech, highlighting the work done by the organization and its future plans. Continuing the program, the chairman Sanjay Phadnis and chief guests Shobha Paithankar and Vijaya Shinde gave their speeches, sharing several of their experiences. Following this, Neeraj Prabhakar of ITBIZCON, who created the organization’s website, was honored by the president, and the chief guests launched the organization’s website. The organization’s general secretary Narendra Edlabadkar provided complete information about the website and explained its utility. The organization’s souvenir “Anmol Safar” -4 was released by the guests and the organization’s office bearers. The organization’s vice-president… Bhalchandra Songaonkar expressed gratitude to the chief guest and all the members and office bearers present at the program. Following this, tributes were paid to the deceased members of the organization, and the program concluded with the national anthem. The program was conducted by Swasti Verma. Present at the event were the organization’s president Shrikant Yadav, vice-president Bhalchandra Songaonkar, general secretary Narendra Edlabadkar, secretary Swati Verma, treasurer Hari Prasad Pal, auditor Suresh Abhyankar, and executive members Arun Agnihotri, Prakash Chaure, Sundar Dravid, Dinesh Sarwariya, Kailash Sunania, Sneha Prabha Jain, and Manohar Joshi, along with 140 other members. Senior literary figure Mukesh Indori was also specially present at this program.
A special camp was organized on September 13, 2025
A special camp was organized on September 13, 2025, at Nimar Khedi station for pensioners living in remote areas, especially family pensioners. Problems of approximately 20 pensioners/family pensioners were resolved, such as creating their UMID cards, getting 7th Pay Commission PPOs issued, applying for medical allowances, applying for RELHS, etc. Similarly, all the pensioners/family pensioners present were informed about the new orders issued by the Railway Administration and the activities of the 8th Pay Commission. The organization’s President, Shri Shrikant Yadav, Vice President, Shri Bhalchandra Songaonkar, General Secretary, Shri Narendra Edlabadkar, Secretary, Smt. Swati Verma, and Executive Member, Shri Dinesh Sarwaria were present at the camp.
The monthly meeting of the organization was held on the second Saturday of October, dated 11th, in which information was given about the increased DR and the specially invited Mr. Kamlesh Chaudhary (Chief Pharmacist) explained in detail how medical assistance can be availed under the UMID card, under what circumstances reimbursement claims are made and what special things need to be kept in mind before making these claims.
